Locum Staff Grade / Specialty Doctor Psychiatry - Buckinghamshire, South East Staff Grade Psychiatry / Specialty Doctor (Locum) We URGENTLY require a Locum Staff Grade Psychiatrist / Specialty Doctor to provide interim locum cover on a part time basis for our partner 50 bed medium secure unit North of London providing specialist treatment programmes for male and female patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and with a history of offending behaviour. The hospital is renowned for its sex offender treatment, its interventions for personality disordered patients and its forensic addictions treatment programmes, also catering for remand patients and patients transferred from prison. In addition tailored care is provided to those patients who present with a dual diagnosis of mental illness/personality disorder and mild learning disability. The post is to commence as soon as possible, for a period of six to eight weeks in the first instance, ideally on a part time basis, although applications from those wishing 0only to be considered on a full time basis will also be considered. Applicants must hold full GMC registration & current licence to practice; a current clear enhanced CRB issued within 12 months; have a minimum of two years psychiatry experience at SHO or above level with part I MRCPsych advantageous, but not essential. Previous experience in a secure / forensic setting is also desirable, but not essential. Superb hourly pay rates are offered negotiable in accordance with experience level.
